I shared with all of you yesterday that I have joined a DietBet game – get paid to loose weight…why wouldn’t I sign up!?! At the very least, once to give it a try because you never know where you are going to find motivation! I also started a 30 for 30 fitness challenge. That is 30 minutes of exercise everyday for the next 30 days.
Day 1 was a success! I know that when I plan my meals eating is not an issue. I also know that if I work out after I am done work for the day I avoiding my evening filled with mindless eating. I have been following Weight Watchers for almost a month now and my number one struggle is eating all of my points. I removed snacks from my eating habits a few months ago and replaced them with larger meals with fruit or veggies in between if I was struggling. Being on Weight Watchers a lot of the fruits and vegetables are 0 points. My third week I added snacking back in and struggled to stay within my points, so I am still looking for the balance. Right now…I am left with points at the end of the day. I am not hungry, so I don’t eat them. My hope is in the coming weeks I find the balance.
I had planned yesterday to go to the gym after work, but it was just to darn beautiful outside to pass up a chance along the seawall. A nice 5K walk along the seawall mixed in with some stair sprints. This was a first for me, but I saw a lady doing them earlier in my walk and I thought “Why not…” Well I did 6 sets in total, 3 on each set of stairs you see in the photo. Yeah I was knackered at the end, but felt amazing.
Now for the technical glitches….
1) How does Fitbit calculate “active minutes” my walk/stair sprints last for almost 45 minutes yesterday and it registers as only 24 active minutes…
2) My fitbit activity to set up to sync with my WW app and normally it is there the next morning and now it is not syncing, so any tech people out there…..any help would be appreciated!
Despite having a couple personal set backs this morning, I have all my meals planned for today and a date with a yoga DVD this evening to provide my muscles with some much needed stretching and love.
Oh and to the cold trying to take up residence in my body….fat chance….gtfo!
